Supplementary Budget of Rs 7,329 Crore for 2024-25 passed in CG Assembly.

CM Shri Vishnudev Sai government has prepared this supplementary budget keeping in mind developed India and Chhattisgarh Vision 2047.

On 23 July 2024, The first supplementary of the government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai was passed by voice vote in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.

In the first supplementary budget of Rs 7,329 crore presented by Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary in the House for the year 2024-25, provisions have been made for many schemes and development works including PM Janman Yojana along with sports facilities, Anganwadi Bhawan.

⇒ Nava Raipur Authority, Provision of Rs 10 crore for setting up innovation hub and incubation centre in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. Provision of Rs 2 crore for construction of sports complex in Nava Raipur.

⇒ Shri Ramlala Ayodhya Dham darshan scheme provision of Rs 35 crore for pilgrimage darshan.

⇒ Forests and improvement, Rs 31 crore for dividend distribution of the value of forest produce. Additional 25 crore for improvement of degraded forests and improvement of bamboo forests.

⇒ Nalanda campus, 13 new libraries will be built for the preparation of competitive exams, an amount of Rs 85.42 crore has been approved.

⇒ Loknayak Jaiprakash Samman Nidhi Provision of Rs 42 crore for The democratic fighters (MISA prisoners) who fought for democracy will be given due respect.

Along with this, an additional provision of Rs 4,900 crore has been made for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

In this budget, all sections including poor, women, middle class, small traders were taken care of. So that the state can develop in all directions.
