In the marathon meeting at Mahanadi Bhavan Ministry, School Education, Higher Education, Tourism, Culture and Endowment Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal took major decisions in the interest of the state. These decisions include celebrating the Kumbh Mela in Rajim in a grand manner, along with including the state’s heritage Sirpur in the World Heritage Site, mall roads will be built in hill stations like Mainpat, Chaiturgarh in Chhattisgarh on the lines of Shimla, Manali, so that A large number of tourists can enjoy the beautiful and amazing views of the state with modern facilities. Along with this, instructions were also given to provide free bicycles to all the children of class 9th in the school and free distribution of text books till class 12th.
Rajim Kumbh Mela will be organized in a grand manner – Shri Aggarwal instructed the officials to make necessary efforts to include Sirpur in the World Heritage and after taking information regarding the preparation of Rajim Kumbh Mela, to make arrangements to make its event grand. Shri Aggarwal has talked about making a parikrama path around the Rajim temple. He has also issued instructions to the officials to promote the fair festival of the state, so that the fair can be promoted on the lines of tourism. Giving important instructions regarding the promotion and development of tourism, he said that we will build mall roads on the lines of Shimla and Manali in hill station cities like Mainpat in Chhattisgarh. Places like Ramgarh and Chaiturgarh of Surguja will be developed as hill stations so that they can attract state as well as national and international tourists. Shri Aggarwal directed the officials of the Tourism and Culture Department to pay special attention to the development of all the tourist places and fairs and festivals of the state.
Preparation to include Sirpur in the World Heritage Site – Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal, while directing the officers in the review meeting of the Tourism Department, said that we will promote businesses by giving the status of industry to tourism in the state and create new employment opportunities. . He said that by establishing ‘Chhattisgarh State Marketing Cell’ we will work to increase the tourism potential of the state by improving the image of the state in national and international tourism.
Shri Ramlala Darshan – He has given necessary instructions to the officials to prepare a definite action plan for providing ‘Shri Ramlala Darshan to the people of the state’ included in the manifesto, to make preparations for IRCTC and bus transports, hotel management etc. and to get information about the Ram Van Gaman Circuit Scheme.
Negligence in the recruitment process will not be tolerated – Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal, while taking a review meeting of the officials of the School Education Department, said that our aim is to provide better education in Chhattisgarh. Our government will not act with prejudice regarding any scheme. The system should be better and permanent than before so that the future of the students is bright, we will move ahead with this thinking. Shri Aggarwal gave strict instructions regarding keeping the recruitment and appointment process of departments transparent and said that any kind of corruption will not be tolerated, if it happens then strict action will be taken if found guilty. Instructions were also given to start the counseling process of the remaining selected candidates in the previous recruitment in the Education Department soon.
Students of all classes in 9th class will get free cycles – While giving instructions to the officials of the School Education Department, Mr. Aggarwal said that now high quality cycles will be distributed free of cost to all the boys and girls of class 9th and air-pumps will be provided in the schools. Arrangements will also be made. Shri Aggarwal instructed the officials to prepare to provide free education as well as free textbooks to every student up to class 12th. He said that there should be no compromise with the quality of construction and repair works of the school, all construction works should be completed within the time limit. In this meeting, under the Chief Minister Knowledge Promotion Scheme, it was also decided to increase the incentive amount from Rs 15 thousand to Rs 25 thousand for the meritorious students of Scheduled Caste and Tribe in the regular class 10th and 12th board examination.
Teachers will be posted on the basis of merit – Mr. Aggarwal, while directing the officials, said that now there will be a provision of quality free coaching for CA, CS, Banking, Railways as well as all competitive examinations in the state. We will promote Sainik Schools so that education and employment can expand. Education Minister Shri Aggarwal also directed the officials to ensure that in the new appointments, teachers should be posted on the basis of merit in the nearby districts only, so that they can discharge their government responsibilities with full efficiency. Also, the salaries of all the officers and employees should be received within the stipulated period every month.
Instructions were given to prepare an action plan for opening English medium sections in 100 pre-established colleges of the state – While taking the review meeting of the Higher Education Department, Mr. Aggarwal gave clear instructions to the officers to speed up the work and said that the officers will keep any file with them. Do not stop for more than 7 days, if this happens then strict action will be taken against them. Shri Aggarwal has also given instructions to make recruitment rules for vacant posts within 7 days and to do setup revision to the departments soon so that promotion, recruitment, appointment, transfer and setup are all done within the stipulated time. Besides, instructions were given to prepare for including agricultural science in B.Sc course in colleges. Emphasis was laid on promoting cultural, moral and spiritual education along with general education in colleges. Instructed the officials to raise funds for colleges under CSR and try to provide better arrangements. Officials were also instructed to prepare to provide government bus fare or passes to those students who are unable to come to college due to lack of funds.
