NALVANSHA (Founder – Varaharaja, Capital – Pushkari / Koraput)
The Nalvanshiya king Vilasatunga built the Rajivlochan temple at Rajim in the 7th – 8th centuries, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
- This temple is built in Panchayatan style.
- The restoration work of this temple was done by Jagatpal, the commander of Kalchuri ruler Prithvidev II.
Nalvanshiya King Vilastung got the Rajim inscription (700-740 AD) engraved which is a historical source of ancient history of Chhattisgarh. Which proved the study of ancient history of Chhattisgarh.
Total 32 gold coins of Nal dynasty rulers have been received from Adenga village of Kondagaon, which includes gold coins of Varahraj 29, Arthapati Bhattarak 2 and Bhavdutt Varman 1 gold coin.
The Riddhipur copper plates belong to Raja Nalvanshiya ruler Bhavadatta Varman while the Kesaribeda copper plates belong to Arthapati Bhattarak.
